Delete your Velqro account and data

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Velqro on a phone where you are signed in.
2. Go to Settings → Cloud backup.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Choose Delete account, keep cards on this phone or Delete account and cards on this phone.

Your account and your whole cloud backup are deleted immediately.

Delete your account without the app

If you no longer have Velqro, email support@emberdevstudios.com from the email address on your Velqro account, with the subject “Delete my Velqro account”. If you used Sign in with Apple with “Hide My Email”, tell us, and we will help you confirm the account. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours. We complete the deletion within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we immediately delete from our database and file storage:

• Your account and its email address.
• Every card in your cloud backup, with all of its fields, notes and meeting context.
• Your tags and industries.
• The card photos in your backup.
• Your profile and your own card (“my card”), including your profile photo (avatar).

What is kept

• Nothing on our servers. Your account and backup are not kept after deletion.
• Cards on your phone, only if you chose to keep them. They stay in the app until you delete them or uninstall Velqro.
• Purchase records. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases, and RevenueCat (which tracks subscription status for us) keeps its record of your subscription, under their own policies. RevenueCat’s record holds an account ID and purchase status, not your cards.

Your subscription is not cancelled automatically

Deleting your account does not cancel Velqro Pro. Cancel it in your store settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Step-by-step instructions are in Support.
